This Art Heals the Healers – Online
A Free Intuitive Painting Circle just for counselors, social workers, coaches and other healers providing their communities with crucial support. Absolutely no artistic experience needed. Held online via Zoom.
Saturday, April 12th from 10am–1pm Pacific (1pm–4pm Eastern)

If you are feeling your personal tell-tale signs that you need more resources to support your own well-being and are curious about therapeutic painting, I invite you to join me in the Online Studio for an intuitive painting circle. This will be a time for you to receive, rest, and express what really matters. This community circle offers you two kinds of support.
Support #1: Time just for you
First, you get to come to a community painting circle where you will receive care, attune to your own needs, and explore these needs through movement and painting. During our time together, the only person you take care of is yourself and expression is mostly nonverbal.
We will start our slow-paced morning together with embodiment play and a one-song dance party, followed by a sharing circle. After this I will teach you the intuitive painting practice. Then we will set up, meditate, and paint.
What you receive:
- somatic and emotional stress release and relief
- one-on-one, nonjudgemental listening and support from me
- to witness and be witnessed by a group of people who get what you do
- a place you will not run into clients; here you only consider your own needs
- the healing benefits of color, sound and movement
To ensure a safer space, I teach and reenforce clear boundaries and social agreements based on best practices from intuitive arts facilitation, restorative justice, and non-violent communication. If you would like to learn more about me, here is my bio.
Support #2: Learning About a New Client Resource
Participating in this circle will also help you learn about therapeutic art so that you can discern who of your clients might benefit from this complimentary care. If you are curious about who is a good fit for my general Painting Alchemy circles, you can read about those here or I am happy to find the time to speak with you, either after class or another time that works for you.
If you made it all the way to the end of this page, I really hope we get to meet. Your curiosity is probably linked to a part of you who knows creating art is a human need that you are ready to feed. If you have any questions, please contact me.
How to Register
This circle is free. To register, use the RSVP form below. Since you will be painting at home, you will need a few supplies. After registering, you'll get an email with a supply list and information on how to join the Zoom session.
